MEDI-5884 is a humanized IgG4Pκ neutralizing monoclonal antibody that targets endothelial lipase (EL) . By inhibiting EL, MEDI-5884 leads to an increase in high-density lipoprotein (HDL) levels, particularly phosphatidylinositol and cholesterol ester, thereby enhancing its functionality. This compound is applicable in research related to cardiovascular diseases, such as coronary artery disease (CAD) .
