CD71 mAb (R17 217.1.3), InVivoPure+
CD71 (transferrin receptor 1, TfR1) is a type II transmembrane glycoprotein essential for iron uptake in proliferating cells. It is highly expressed on activated lymphocytes, hematopoietic progenitors, and rapidly dividing cells making it a valuable marker for cell proliferation and iron metabolism studies. The monoclonal antibody R17217.1.3 is a rat IgG2a antibody specific for mouse CD71. It is widely used in flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and in vivo depletion/blockade studies.
