Resorufin pentyl ether (Pentoxyresorufin) is a Resazurin analogue. Resorufin pentyl ether can function as a substrate probe to characterize and differentiate between a variety of inducers of cytochromes P-450. Resorufin pentyl ether has bactericidal activity against N. gonorrhoeae[1][2].
