Target Description
Alkaline Phosphatase (alk. phos.), an enzyme derived from bovine intestine mucosa is used as a label in situ hybridization and Immunohistochemistry (IHC).Several insoluble chromogens are used to detect this enzyme. This stable solution is used to increase the signal generated by alkaline phosphatase. It can be used with Fast red, BCIP/INT, BCIP/NBT, our Fast Red Super (organic solvents stable, cat. # AR-8211) or any other alk phos. chromogen. A single treatment of this reagent is applied before the chromogen.
