Aminophylline is a competitive and non-selective phosphodiesterase (PDE) inhibitor. Aminophylline is a competitive adenosine receptor antagonist. Aminophylline has apulmonary vasodilator action as well as a bronchodilator action and has the potential for asthma research[1][2].
