Could also bind muscle proteins such as actin to membrane complexes in muscle. May be involved not only in the filaments network, but also in the regulation of their dynamics. Structural component of muscle. Isoform 9 plays a major role in the maintenance of myofiber integrity.

Reconstitute in 10mM PBS (pH 7.4) to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. Do not vortex. Store at 2-8° C for one month. Aliquot and store at -80° C for 12 months. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
