10X SDS-PAGE Running Gel Buffer
Product Specifications
Gene Aliases
Sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide running buffer, Protein Gel Running Buffer, polyacrylamide gel running buffer
Target
SDS-PAGE, sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, describes a technique widely used in biochemistry to separate proteins according to their electrophoretic mobility (a function of the length of a polypeptide chain and its charge) and no other physical feature. SDS is an anionic detergent applied to protein sample to linearize proteins and to impart a negative charge to linearized proteins. 10X SDS-PAGE Running Buffer is suitable for laboratory involved in protein biochemistry.
Conjugation
Unconjugated
Type
Others
Applications
Sodium sodecyl sulfate - polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, Western blot
Purification
Meticulously prepared using ultra-pure reagents dissolved in highly polished pharmaceutical grade deionized water. Some yellow coloration of the 10X buffer may be observed. A slight coloration does not interfere with the performance of the running buffer.
