GALNT10 antibody was raised against an 18 amino acid synthetic peptide near the carboxy terminus of human GALNT10. The immunogen is located within amino acids 530 - 580 of GALNT10.

Catalyzes the initial reaction in O-linked oligosaccharide biosynthesis, the transfer of an N-acetyl-D-galactosamine residue to a serine or threonine residue on the protein receptor. Has activity toward Muc5Ac and EA2 peptide substrates.

GALNT10 antibody can be stored at 4C, stable for one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
