IRGM Antibody

IRGM antibody was raised against a 17 amino acid synthetic peptide near the amino terminus of the human IRGM. The immunogen is located within amino acids 30 - 80 of IRGM.

Putative GTPase which is required for clearance of acute protozoan and bacterial infections. Functions in innate immune response probably through regulation of autophagy. May regulate proinflammatory cytokine production and prevent endotoxemia upon infection. May also play a role in macrophages adhesion and motility (By similarity) .

IRGM antibody can be stored at 4C, stable for one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
