BANF1 Antibody

Anti-BANF1 antibody (4017) was raised against a peptide corresponding to 15 amino acids near the carboxy terminus of human BANF1. The immunogen is located within the last 50 amino acids of BANF1.

Plays fundamental roles in nuclear assembly, chromatin organization, gene expression and gonad development. May potently compress chromatin structure and be involved in membrane recruitment and chromatin decondensation during nuclear assembly. Contains 2 non-specific dsDNA-binding sites which may promote DNA cross-bridging.

BANF1 antibody can be stored at 4C for three months, store at -20C for up to one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
