FAIM2 Antibody

FAIM2 antibody was raised against a 16 amino acid synthetic peptide from near the amino terminus of human FAIM2. The immunogen is located within the first 50 amino acids of FAIM2.

Antiapoptotic protein which protects cells uniquely from Fas-induced apoptosis. Regulates Fas-mediated apoptosis in neurons by interfering with caspase-8 activation. May play a role in cerebellar development by affecting cerebellar size, internal granular layer (IGL) thickness, and Purkinje cell (PC) development.

LFG antibody can be stored at 4C, stable for one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
