Mocs1a catalyzes the cyclization of GTP to (8S) -3',8-cyclo-7,8-dihydroguanosine 5'-triphosphate and Mocs1b catalyzes the subsequent conversion of (8S) -3',8-cyclo-7,8-dihydroguanosine 5'-triphosphate to cPMP.
