CD133 is expressed in hemtopoietic stem cells, endothelial progenitor cells, glioblastoma, neuronal and glial stem cells, virous pediatric brain tumors as well as adult kidney, mammary gland, trachea salivary glands, placenta, digestive tract, testes, and some other cell types.
