SSB Antibody (Phospho-Ser366)

Autoantigen La; La; la autoantigen; La ribonucleoprotein; La ribonucleoprotein domain family, member 3; La/SSB; LARP3; lupus La antigen; lupus La protein; sjoegren syndrome type B antigen; Sjogren syndrome antigen B; SS-B; SS-B/La protein.

Binds to the 3' poly (U) terminus of nascent RNA polymerase III transcripts, protecting them from exonuclease digestion and facilitating their folding and maturation (PubMed:3192525, PubMed:2470590) . In case of Coxsackievirus B3 infection, binds to the viral internal ribosome entry site (IRES) and stimulates the IRES-mediated translation (PubMed:12384597) .

The antibody was purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using phospho peptide. The antibody against non-phospho peptide was removed by chromatography using corresponding non-phospho peptide.
