This SCGN antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 54-84 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human SCGN.
Target
SCGN is a secreted calcium-binding protein which is found in the cytoplasm. It is related to calbindin D-28K and calretinin. SCGN is thought to be involved in KCL-stimulated calcium flux and cell proliferation.
