Inhibits neural Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome protein (N-WASP) by stabilizing the autoinhibited state of the protein. Blocks phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate (PIP2) -stimulated actin assembly (IC50 ~ 2 ?M) but does not directly inhibit actin polymerization.
