Villosin exhibits potent cytotoxic activity , it may be used as a potential lead molecule for antitumor therapeutic development. Villosin shows inhibitory effects against nitric oxide production in LPS and IFN-?-induced RAW 264.7 murine macrophages with IC50 values of 5.99 ± 1.20 ug/ml.
