Apcin A HCL is an anaphase-promoting complex (APC) inhibitor. Apcin-A HCL interacts strongly with Cdc20, and inhibits the ubiquitination of Cdc20 substrates. Apcin-A HCL can be used to synthesize the PROTAC CP5V.
