FtsZ-IN-2 is an inhibitor of the bacterial cytokinin FtsZ and has an inhibitory effect on GTPase activity. ftsZ-IN-2 exhibited anti-staphylococcal effects with MIC values of 2 ?g/ml for both MSSA and MRSA.
