NSC 80467 preferentially disrupts DNA synthesis, thereby inducing two hallmark DNA-damage markers, γH2AX and pKAP1. NSC 80467 enables mechanistic investigation in to DNA replication stress and apoptosis-associated signaling pathways and serves as a biochemical tool for evaluating survivin-dependent cellular processes in oncology research.
