Specnuezhenide (Nuezhenide) is isolated from the fruit of Ligustrum lucidum. It inhibits NF-?B and wnt/?-catenin signaling, thereby suppressing IL-1?-induced chondrocyte inflammation. It exerts anti-inflammatory effects in a rat model of osteoarthritis (OA) .
