Bioactivity
Stampidine can prevent the sexual transmission of HIV-1. It exhibited remarkable subnanomolar to low nanomolar in vitro antiretroviral potency against nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor-resistant primary clinical HIV isolates, non-nucleoside RT-resistant HIV-1 isolates.
