CIB-1476 is a caspase-1 inhibitor. CIB-1476 can exert lasting anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting IL-1β production, NF-κB activation, and GSDMD-mediated pyroptosis induced by the NLRP3 inflammasome. CIB-1476 can reduce joint swelling in models of arthritis in mice[1].
