NIC
NIC is a host invasion inhibitor. NIC can suppress host invasion by interacting with the major invasion-related protein, merozoite surface protein 1 (MSP-1) . NIC prevents the invasion of Plasmodium falciparum and Plasmodium vivax into the host[1].
