Apolipoprotein CII, Human Plasma
Apo CII activates lipoprotein lipase which then hydrolyzes VLDL triglyceride to form IDL (intermediate density lipoproteins). The concentration of Apo CII in normal plasma is 3-8 mg per 100 ml.
