Salinomycin is a polyether ionophore antibiotic that has recently been identified as an antitumor drug for several types of cancer stem cell (CSC) treatments. Salinomycin inhibits the migration and invasion of liver cancer stem cells (LCSCs) through the dephosphorylated FAK and ERK1/2 pathways.
