Lincomycin Hydrochloride

Lincomycin is an antibiotic produced by Streptomyces lincolnensis. It inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by forming cross-links within the peptidyl transferase loop region of the 23S rRNA. It is effective against gram-positive bacteria.
