CID-5951923 is an Inhibitor of Krüppel-like factor 5 (KLF5) transcription factor (IC₅₀ = 2.3 μM). Significantly reduces endogenous KLF5 protein levels and decreases viability of colon cancer cells, without affecting the nontransformed intestinal epithelial cells IEC-6.
