TAE (Tris-Acetate-EDTA) Buffer (50X)

TAE (Tris-Acetate-EDTA) buffer (50X) is used for electrophoresis of nucleic acids in agarose and polyacrylamide gels. This buffer can be used for both genomic and large supercoiled DNA, as well as for both a running and a gel preparation buffer.
