Cell-permeable. SQ 22,536 is an adenylyl cyclase inhibitor. (IC₅₀ = 1.4 μM). It inhibits cAMP production induced by prostaglandin E1 in platelet lysates (IC₅₀ = 82 µM) and in intact platelets (IC₅₀ = 1 µM).
