Bongkrekic Acid, Triammonium Salt

A potent inhibitory ligand of the mitochondrial adenine nucleotide translocase (ANT). Inhibits mitochondrial permeability transition pore opening. Also blocks NMDA receptor-mediated apoptosis of cerebrocortical neurons.
