QuickDetect™ IgM (Rabbit) ELISA Kit
Immunoglobulin M (IgM) is the largest antibody, and it is the first antibody to appear in the response to initial exposure to an antigen. It is the first immunoglobulin expressed in the fetus (around 20 weeks) and phylogenetically the earliest antibody to develop. IgM antibodies appear early in the course of an infection and usually reappear, to a lesser extent, after further exposure. BioVision’s IgM ELISA kit is a sandwich ELISA assay for the quantitative measurement of IgM in rabbit serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants in 90 minutes. The density of color is proportional to the amount of IgM captured from the samples.
