Participates in cellular nitrogen metabolism and also in liver gluconeogenesis starting with precursors transported from skeletal muscles. BioVision’s GPT ELISA kit is a sandwich ELISA assay for the quantitative measurement of human GPT in serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants. The density of color is proportional to the amount of human GPT captured from the samples.
