Background

SCF is a potent hematopoietic factor produced by a variety of cells, including lymphocytes, monocytes, fibroblasts, endothelial cells, myoblasts and osteoblasts. It is a key regulator of cellular proliferation, differentiation, and survival for blood monocytes, tissue macrophages, and their respective progenitor cells. SCF has been shown to play important roles in modulating dermal thickness and fertility. SCF is clinically used in the treatment of infection, malignancies and atherosclerosis.

Storage Conditions

Lyophilized protein product should be stored desiccated below -20°C. Upon reconstitution, the protein should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -20°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) . Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
