Sheep Human Factor H Antibody
Precipitating polyclonal sheep antiserum to human factor H. Factor H is a serum protein acting as an inhibitor in the complement activation system. I activates the C3/C5 convertase by dissociating its subunits and also acts as a cofactor for the enzyme activity of Factor I. It has been isolated as a homogenous protein for use in the antiserum production. Freund's complete adjuvant is used in the first step of the immunization procedure.
