Dog Red Blood Cells
Glutaraldehyde stabilized red blood cells are produced from freshly washed dog RBCs by brief exposure to a glutaraldehyde-buffer solution and exhaustive washing in saline. This treatment largely preserves the native antigenicity of the erythrocytes.
