EDC (EDAC)
EDC (or EDAC) (1-(3-Dimethylaminopropyl-3-ethylcarbodiimide, hydrochloride)) has recently been found to be very useful for fixing <i>in situ </i>chelators, including the fluorescent ion indicators for histological studies following physiological experiments. EDC is also a widely used reagent to activate carboxy groups for amine coupling. </p> <ul> </p> <li>White solid soluble in water</li> </p> <li>Store desiccated at -20°C</li> </p> <li>C8H18ClN3</li> </p> <li>MW: 191.7</li> </p> <li>[25952-53-8]</li> </p> </ul>
