Ganglioside GD2

Ganglioside GD2, a member of the ganglioside family, is a tumor-associated antigen that is highly expressed in almost all neuroblastomas, as well as in most melanomas and retinoblastomas. Ganglioside GD2 contributes to tumor development by enhancing cell proliferation, motility, migration, adhesion, and invasion. Anti-Ganglioside GD2 strategies hold promise for research in the field of anti-tumor therapy[1].
