EGF Receptor / EGFR Antibody
This antibody reacts with the extracellular domain of EGF receptor and blocks the EGF/TGFa induced activation. It also blocks tumor growth in vivo. It is excellent for purification of EGF receptor. <a href=../search_result.php?search_txt=egfr>EGFR</a> is type I receptor tyrosine kinase with sequence homology to <a href=../search_result.php?search_txt=erbb2>ErbB2</a>, -3 -4 or <a href=../search_result.php?search_txt=her2>HER2</a>, -3 -4. It binds to Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF), <a href=../search_result.php?search_txt=TGFa>Transforming Growth Factor-a (TGFa)</a>, Heparin-binding EGF (HB-EGF), amphiregulin, betacellulin and epiregulin.
