CDKN2A/p16INK4a monoclonal antibody
Product Specifications
Background
Acts as a negative regulator of the proliferation of normal cells by interacting strongly with CDK4 and CDK6. This inhibits their ability to interact with cyclins D and to phosphorylate the retinoblastoma protein.CautionThe proteins described here are encoded by the gene CDKN2A, but are completely unrelated in terms of sequence and function to tumor suppressor ARF (AC Q64364) which is encoded by the same gene.
