Sefaxersen (IONIS-FB-LRx) is a specific antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) targeting complement factor B (CFB) . Sefaxersen effectively reduces circulating levels of CFB. Sefaxersen can be used for geographic atrophy (GA) research[1][2].
