Specificity
Recognizes the human MUC2 mucin. The antibody recognizes malignant colonic mucosa as well as normal mucosa. In tissue sections, recognizes colon, liver and prostate tissues strongly. Shows no crossreactivity with MUC1, MUC3 or MUC4 mucins.
