ABCC6 (ATP Binding Cassette Subfamily C Member 6) is a Protein Coding gene. Among its related pathways are CDK-mediated phosphorylation and removal of Cdc6 and Photodynamic therapy-induced NFE2L2 (NRF2) survival signaling. The protein encoded by ABCC6 is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intra-cellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White) . The encoded protein, a member of the MRP subfamily, is involved in multi-drug resistance. Mutations in ABCC6 cause pseudoxanthoma elasticum. Alternatively spliced transcript variants that encode different proteins have been described for ABCC6.

Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator. Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: WB 1:500-2000; ELISA 1:5000-20000
