LY96 Polyclonal Antibody

LY96 encodes a protein which associates with toll-like receptor 4 on the cell surface and confers responsiveness to lipopolysaccyaride (LPS), thus providing a link between the receptor and LPS signaling. Studies of the mouse ortholog suggest that LY96 may be involved in endotoxin neutralization. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. LY96 (Lymphocyte Antigen 96) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with LY96 include Intestinal Botulism and Wound Botulism. Stable for one year at -20°C from date of shipment. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator. Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: WB 1:500-2000; ELISA 1:5000-20000
