Zinpyr-1, a zinc-responsive fluorescent indicator that has found wide applicability for the detection of biological mobile zinc. Zinpyr-1 undergoes a shift in excitation from 515 to 507 nm with increasing zinc concentrations using an emission filter over 513-558 nm[1].
