Norethindrone is a female progestin approved by FDA for the treatment of endometriosis, uterine bleeding caused by abnormal hormone levels, and secondary amenorrhea. Norethindrone-d6 is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Alkyne group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing Azide groups.
