p-Nitrophenyl Sulfate Potassium is a chromogenic substrate for arylsulfatase. p-Nitrophenyl Sulfate Potassium is released by arylsulfonase cleavage, and the activity of arylsulfonase can be quantitatively determined by colorimetric detection at 400 nm[1].
