Androgen Receptor Mouse mAb IHC Kit
Product Specifications
Background
Androgen receptor (AR) is a member of the ligand response transcription regulator superfamily, which is expressed in prostate, testis and sweat gland. Upon AR binding the receptor, it stimulates androgen responsive genes transcription. AR plays an important role in the occurrence and development of prostate cancer. The higher the degree of differentiation of prostate cancer tissue, the higher the expression of AR, and the hormone treatment effect of positive prostate cancer patients is better. AR is mainly used for the detection of prostate cancer, guiding clinical treatment, and can also be used for other cancers such as esophageal cancer and breast cancer.
