Source: Escherichia Coli.Sterile Filtered clear solution.HLA-G (Major Histocompatibility Complex Class I G) is a member of the HLA class I heavy chain paralogues. This class I molecule is a heterodimer which comprises a heavy chain as well as a light chain, beta-2 microglobulin, while the heavy chain is fixed in the membrane. HLA-G is expressed on fetal derived placental cells. HLA-G is a non-classical class-I HLA molecule linked with immuno-modulatory & anti-inflammatory properties which interacts with inhibitory receptors such as, ILT2/ILT4/KIR2DL4, that are present on different immune cells. HLA-G inhibits the proliferation of T cells, B cells & natural killer cells, moreover it also induces regulatory T cells.HLA-G Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 309 amino acids (25-308 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 35.3kDa.HLA-G is fused to a 25 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

HLA-G protein solution (0.25mg/mL) contains 20% glycerol and PBS (pH 7.4) .

Storage Conditions

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
