FCGR3B Human
Source: Sf9, Baculovirus cells.Sterile filtered colorless solution.FCGR3B, also known as CD16b belongs to the Ig super family. FCGR3B encodes a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) -anchored protein which is expressed constitutively by neutrophils. FCGR3B binds to complex or aggregated IgG and monomeric IgG. Different from III-A, FCGR3B cannot arbitrate antibody-dependent cytotoxicity and phagocytosis. FCGR3B operate to capture immune complexes in peripheral blood circulation that does not activate neutrophils.FCGR3B produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 188 amino acids (21-200a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 21.4kDa. (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 28-40kDa) .FCGR3B is expressed with an 8 amino acid His tag at C-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
